Jesus has more for us, as only some comforting words or some good thoughts in the service on Sunday, that you can carry into the week, to consume them theoretically, after the service is over.

This you can see in the words of Paul in the epistle to the Romans:
“16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1 Verse 16-17 King James Version (KJV).

Jesus didn’t die for us on the cross, that on Sundays, we can be lifted a little bit and than in the week, we fight our fights as usual.

Woman are also not giving birth, just to have something, that they can, sometimes, coddle a little bit. But they are caring for their child, feed it, and want all the best for their child. Normally they do everything that is necessary to give their child the best options and abilities for their life. Fathers are also doing this normally also. They also care for their children and in the same way, they want, that the life of their child is successful.

However, I was more likely to cite the mothers here, because they can understand more the birthpain as an analogy to the cross. In this stadium men had more likely their fun. Und Jesus really didn’t have fun on the cross. HE really suffered. HE had given everything.

How we care for our children is an analogy for how God is caring for us and how his heart is into us. God is constantly good and we humans are still regularly interested in ourselves, facing still much too much our own pleasure. That is the reason, why we can assume, that for God it is much more important, than for us, that our life is successful.

When we confide in HIM; than we realize, that HE gives everything, that our life is prospering and increasing in everything.

HE simply loves us.

PRAYER:
Lord Jesus Christ, I pray to you, because YOU have given everything. I thank you, that you are interested in my life. I can be sure, that my life is safe in YOU. You accompany my lovingly, like a father and a mother accompanies their children. Therefore you let me free and you bind me at the same time. Everything happens in YOUR love.
Thank you, that you let me take part at the power of YOUR word and YOUR presence. You want more than I that your character can be seen in me and that also your power and the miracles of your love and your glory can be seen in my life. Thank you, that you are reflected in me and that you constantly renew my power
